Insurance coverage
- The rental rates include third party insurance with excess, periodic vehicle servicing, maintenance, road side assistance and accident replacement vehicle.
- Collision Detection Waiver (CDW) is available at the time of rental with an extra cost as mentioned in the rates.
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is available at the time of rental with an extra cost as mentioned in the rates. This provides for compensation in the unfortunate event of an accident involving the rented vehicle that results to physical injury or death of the occupant(s). Note that PAI does not cover hospitalisations.
- Full insurance i.e. Complete Protection Plan (CPP – Zero Liability) is be available at the time of rental with extra cost as mentioned in the rates.
- Full repair fees will be charged to the client in the absence of a valid police report (excess liability AED 1500-3000 dependent on vehicle).
- Accident insurance is valid only with a police report, without which customer will be required to bear all costs.
- The hirer is responsible in obtaining the corresponding police report for any vehicle damage or accidents.
- Personal belongings or luggage are not insured.
- Instacarhire are not liable for any personal belongings/luggage left inside the vehicle upon hire.
Breakdown HELP
- Flat tyres or running out of fuel is not considered as a breakdown. We may assist but an additional charge will apply depending on the customer’s location.
- Breakdown cover only valid within UAE only.
